Find Your Voice: Poetry Workshop In-Person
Persona, from the Latin for mask: Persona poems allow poets to “hide” behind a mask to explore topics, themes, events, and points of view more easily and to learn about others while practicing empathy, understanding, insight, and imagination. In this workshop we will focus on and write “persona poems” using fun prompts, as a way to find your voice as a poet, or expand on the voice you already have. This workshop is suitable for poets of all skill levels and writing/publishing experience.
