August Creative Kits In-Person
Get crafty with one of our monthly Handmade Creative Kits. We've got something for everyone!
You can request multiple kits when registering. Select the number from the drop down menu before clicking Begin Registration.
- Registration opens first Monday of the month.
- Stop by the Carnegie Technology Center desk for pick up.
- Kits are available for pick up as soon as you register.
- All kits must be picked up at the Oregon City Library by end of month.

Adults (ages 18+) Painted Hat
Is the sun getting in your eyes? Don't you wish you had a nice hat to protect you? What if it was also a unique, one-of-a-kind hand decorated piece of art? You can have it all - just take one of these white ball caps and use the provided fabric pens to decorate it and be the envy of everyone you meet!
Kit includes: White hat, 4 fabric pens

B.A.M. (Adults with disabilities 18+) DIY Coin Purse
Register for one of our B.A.M. DIY Coin Purse creative kits and stitch yourself a cool vinyl coin purse to hold your loose change or other little items.
Kit includes: Vinyl Purse Pieces, Lacing Cord
Materials you need at home: Ruler, Scissors
Limit 1 kit per adult, while supplies last.
Kids (ages 2-9) Gemstone Rocks
Painted rocks, with a twist: take an ordinary rock and use paint to make it look like a fancy gemstone.
